There are many definition of cloud computing technology. In this post, the term cloud computing refers to the process of having content or services delivered to a client computer from a host server. These services and resources also must have the ability to be reconfigured and redeployed on an as-needed basis in order for the network to be considered a Cloud network. There are many different types of cloud computing models that are all significantly different from each other. The services that are provided by Cloud computing can be classified into one of three separate models: Software as a Service (SaaS), Platfaorm as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). It is easy to point out popular cloud computing examples including Windows Azure, Google App Engine, Amazon EC2 and Salesforce.
